The Andaman Islands
Journey into the Jungle Mission
Chapter Synopsis & GM Prep Notes
The investigators arrive at the rain-drenched colonial outpost of Port Blair, their last glimpse of civilization before plunging into the suffocating wilderness of the Andaman Islands. Their objective is to locate the isolated mission of Cynthia Baxter, but the grueling trek north through dense tropical canopies and leech-infested swamps will rapidly drain their physical and mental endurance.
Upon reaching the wooden mission on stilts, the harrowing truth of their expedition comes to light: Cynthia has undergone a terrifying metamorphosis, orchestrated by the indigenous Tcho-Tcho tribe. The investigators must navigate between the remnants of abandoned villages and primitive jungle settlements, realizing too late they have walked directly into a sinister web of ancient worship.
The climax awaits at a dark clearing illuminated by flaming torches, where cultists gather around a pulsating, geometric black monolith. For those foolish or brave enough to explore further, fossil-filled gorges and the abyssal, web-choked caverns of Atlach-Nacha offer sanity-shattering revelations deep beneath the earth's surface.
