This battle map depicts the narrow, winding streets of Silchester village during a night of total chaos. The atmosphere is defined by multiple thatched-roof cottages engulfed in flames, casting dynamic, dancing orange light across the mud and cobblestone pathways. The terrain is choked with debris: overturned wooden carts creating immediate heavy cover, smashed furniture, and broken barrels blocking passages. Several buildings have doors bashed open, allowing for interior/exterior flanking maneuvers. The oppressive darkness outside the firelight creates deep shadows perfect for ambush. This is a highly restrictive tactical map. The narrow alleys limit movement and encourage close-quarters combat or bottleneck strategies. The burning structures are dynamic hazards, potentially causing fire damage (VTT interaction: place fire tiles or wall lighting). Overturned carts provide partial or full cover against ranged attacks. Scattered corpses add difficult terrain and psychological horror. There are multiple entry/exit points between the buildings and down the main road, facilitating running battles.
