Hidden away in the craggy embrace of the mountains lies the Mountain Kami Shrine, a pocket of tranquility that pulses with ancient magic. The map features a tightly enclosed rocky alcove, heavily restricting movement and forcing close-quarters engagement, while towering stalagmites break the dynamic line of sight. At the center rests a miniature torii gate carved directly into the living rock, flanked by delicate offerings of rice and sake. A thick *shimenawa* (sacred rope) binds the largest stalagmite, marking the domain of the earth spirits. This layout provides excellent tactical opportunities for ambushes or desperate defensive stands in a highly constricted space. For Game Masters, this map is ideal for a spiritual trial, an ambush by corrupted mountain yokai, or a serene roleplaying encounter with a local kami. The natural stone formations offer heavy cover, making ranged attacks challenging and rewarding clever positioning and mobility.
