Welcome to the Sorting and Washing Workshop, a gritty and muddy industrial facility where raw earth is transformed into valuable jade. Long, sturdy wooden tables dominate the center of the room, flanked by artificial water channels that provide a constant flow for washing the freshly mined minerals. The floor is littered with treacherous shards of ordinary stone and slick mud, creating natural difficult terrain for any encounter. Tactically, this map offers excellent environmental interactions. The heavy tables serve as half-cover or barricades against ranged attacks, while the rushing water channels can act as hazards to push enemies into. The scattered heavy hammers, sieves, and mining equipment can be creatively used by players as improvised weapons or hazards. Game Masters can use this map for a worker uprising, an ambush by thieves trying to steal the freshly processed jade, or an investigation into a smuggling ring hiding contraband within the stone waste. The dim, damp atmosphere sets a perfect tone for a tense, gritty encounter.
