A colossal mechanical heart constructed from welded engine blocks dominates the center of the room, rhythmically thumping and casting long, shifting shadows across the jagged scrap-metal pews. Rivers of molten slag cut through the sanctuary, providing hazardous terrain that illuminates the gloom with a harsh, orange glow. Tactically, this map offers excellent choke points along the narrow walkways crossing the slag, while the heavy, welded pews serve as crucial half-cover against ranged assaults. Game Masters can leverage the deafening noise of the mechanical heart to mask ambushes or penalize perception checks.
